What is Lip filler?
Lip filler is composed of hyaluronic acid which provides shape and fullness to the lips. The filler is delicately and painlessly placed in the lips via a blunt cannula and super-fine needle after applying topical local anaesthetic cream.
Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance found in the body, which can be injected in a man-made form into the body to beautify and rejuvenate. The product is naturally broken down by the body over a period of time, after which time the procedure will require to be repeated. Lip filler lasts on average 6-12 months.
